The "UV/IR Cut Filter" is custom-designed and coated as a long-pass filter that transmits wavelengths longer than a specified wavelength while reflecting shorter wavelengths, or as a short-pass filter that transmits wavelengths shorter than a specified wavelength while reflecting longer wavelengths. It is an IR cut filter that transmits part of the near ultraviolet range.
The IR Cut Filter 2 is a dielectric multilayer film that does not transmit (but reflects) infrared light while allowing visible light to pass through. It is formed by ion-assisted deposition (IAD), creating a shiftless and dense film. Compared to the IR Cut Filter 1, it is a wide transmission range IR cut filter that allows transmission up to part of the near-ultraviolet region. Additionally, it features an anti-reflective coating (AR) on the backside, enhancing the transmittance in the transmission range. It is also capable of transmitting and reflecting arbitrary wavelengths, not just visible light and infrared. We provide consistent design and manufacturing of IR cut filters. We will design and manufacture according to customer requests, including specifications for half-wavelength, transmission band, and cut band. This product is a Low Shift type absorption UV-IR cut filter that transmits visible light or visible light + near-infrared. *BAG is an abbreviation for [Blue Absorbing Glass]. It provides optical characteristics with minimal dependence on the angle of incidence across the UV to IR range. It is used in various applications such as PC facial recognition cameras, drive recorders, in-car monitors, 4K/8K cameras, broadcast cameras, industrial cameras, 360-degree cameras, surveillance cameras, drones, smartphones, and wearable devices.
